Wyoming Chamber Partnership June 2011

The Wyoming Chamber Partnership (WCP) works to sustain the professional growth of chamber executives and serves as an advocate for strengthening over 10,000 Wyoming businesses represented by their local Chambers of Commerce.

WCP offers chamber executives two training conferences per year providing educational opportunities for the executives and their staff to bring back to their local communities. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with their colleagues from across Wyoming. Sharing information is a priceless resource for our executives and strengthening Wyoming business is our ultimate goal.

Inspired by Jim Owen's Cowboy Ethics: What Wall Street Can Learn from the Code of the West, WCP has partnered with the Wyoming Business Council and the University of Wyoming's College of Business to bring the Code of the West Ethical Leadership Initiative to Wyoming businesses. The initiative will spotlight the reason why everyone needs a "code to live by," as well as a "how to" plan for businesses and organizations that want to create and adopt their own code.

WCP also serves as the principal partner for the Wyoming Prosperity Project and will soon be offering an online business directory composed of chamber members across the state. Partnering with ChamberMaster, a chamber member management tool, the online business directory will be available through WCP's website and will be an excellent resource for referrals and advocating for Wyoming businesses.
